Ducati 750, 1971. #767/A
£480.00
Special order, up to 30 days delay.
Sorry, this item is currently out of stock.
You have an early (1971) 750 that you would LOVE to ride but really don't want to hazard the original fuel tank with current fuel concoctions? Or maybe you are restoring an early 750 and have been looking for a correct pattern tank to replace the later, lower and incorrect variant that you've been using? Maybe you even have no tank at all! Fret no more! As a result of my Bevel Ducati OCD, I am now able to offer fibreglass petrol tank; to fit early bevel drive Ducati V twins, 1971, when they were still only designated as '750' and had not been updated to '750GT'.

Made in Italy, exclusively for Discovolantemoto.

Fresh for the mold (taken from an original '71 pattern tank; NOT a copy from a copy from a copy etc etc); no spider cracking or mold degradation whatsoever. This product is NOT available through any other vendor. Supplied complete with stainless steel flip top filler cap (non locking) and correct specification replica fuel taps/ petcocks (M12 fitting).  Guaranteed proof against the harmful effects of current Ethanol fuels.

I am also able to offer these items (& side panels) correctly decalled and fully painted in perfect mimicry of the original Ducati metalflake colours. Indistinguishable from the original Ducati finish! Shockingly expensive to be sure; but this is museum quality work and would grace the highest levels of any Concours display.

Email or call me if you want to be aware of what obsession is entailed in projects like these.

PLEASE NOTE.

Petrol tanks are supplied complete with filler caps, petrol taps and rubber restraining straps (where applicable). The majority of the petrol tanks have a screw type filler cap fitted as standard. Certain petrol tanks may have alternative types specified when ordering; see individual product for details.

All petrol tanks are warranted for 2 years from time of purchase. Paintwork, being an aftermarket purchase not within the control of the manufacturer, is NOT covered by the factory warranty.

Customers should consult with their own regulatory authorities regarding the legality of these products for race or road use.
