About Disco Volante Moto

I'm Howard. I am Discovolantemoto. 'We' are a one man and his dog (LLEW). Enthusiasts of all things motorcycle related. When you send us an email or call us on the phone, you don't get to fight your way through an automated answering system. Press #1 for sales, Press #2 for accounts etc etc. I am the Managing Director of this outfit. I am also the tea-boy, telephonist, stores and accounts and all the rest of it too. LLEW does the guarding (in between power naps).

We try to do our best by people and treat customers as we would like to be treated ourselves as customers.

Sad change to the company description:
Spike - RIP, 18-12-2009, no man ever had a better friend.
Good News!
We are a complete unit again. Aquired a feisty red hound; Boxer dog, 'Max' (after the great German boxer Max Schmelling, ex-heavyweight World Champion).
Max, RIP 21-9-2013, taken from us, so quickly.
Last of the Line
"LLEW" (Welsh for Lion) is the latest and last companion in casa Discovolantemoto. A fine BullMastiff boy but born with a toe missing in his left forepaw; no good for show or breeding but as a pet, companion and guard we could not want for better. Last of the line because the parting is such a heartbreak and we'll not put ourselves through the misery again.
RIP, 12-07-2020

Consider this quote from John Ruskin: "It's unwise to pay too much, but it's unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little, that is all. When you pay too little, you lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot, it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better."
